Business Photography

An introduction to the utilisation of photography in commercial and design fields.
The objective of this course is to equip learners with the necessary skills to make informed choices in how to employ photographs to suitably enhance in-print and on-line visual media.
Duration of Course Two 2.5 hour sessions in the National Print Museum Dublin 4
Training Dates 16th November 2023 & 23rd November 2023
Times 18.00-21.00 (x2)
Learners should have a basic knowledge of photographic techniques.
Course Content –
Lecture 1 (2.5 hours) – Visual awareness and the communicative power of visual imagery.
Lecture 2 (2.5 hours) – Technical requirements for print and on-line media production.
Using visual imagery within business and commercial communications.
This course will be delivered by Hector Heathwood
| Hector Heathwood has over 30 years field experience as a commercial and editorial photographer. His 20 years as an educator involved him teaching Photography at DLIADT, UCD and Griffith College. Here he wrote a BA in Photographic Media, and a BA Hons in Visual Media. |
