Your Work in the Headlines: A Media Skills Workshop for Interior Designers

Interior designers today need more than great design — they need visibility. This 2 hour masterclass gives designers the practical tools to confidently present their work to the media, get featured, and build their brand profile. With expert insights from Irish media and interior design PR specialist, Niamh O’Carroll, FPRII (O’Carroll Consulting), attendees will learn how to pitch, build press relationships, and position themselves for ongoing coverage.
Objective
To equip interior designers with foundational media and PR skills so they can:
- Communicate their design stories effectively
- Understand how the Irish media landscape works
- Understand the role that Image plays
- Secure press coverage for projects and brand collaborations
- Build long-term media relationships and brand visibility
- No prior PR or marketing experience required

- How to “read” media.

4️⃣ Preparing Your Press Assets
- Investing in photography

This course will be delivered by Niamh O Carroll – With over 30 years’ experience working in communications and consultancy, Niamh is one of Ireland`s leading experts on strategic communication. Niamh is the founder owner of O’Carroll Consulting, primarily working with design and interiors clients.
Niamh qualified as a Leadership, Executive and Personal Coach in 2019 and has also trained under Tara Mohr. She is on the Board of two non- profits.
Specialties: Public relations, strategic communications, corporate responsibility, public information campaigns, strategic reviews, media relations, marketing, fundraising, strategic planning, philanthropy and coaching and mentoring.
