This part-time 5 ECTS NFQ level 6 certificate comprises a single-module: Lighting Design, which is delivered over a single semester.

• The programme enables learners explore lighting solutions and abilities by examining theory, research and samples, and to demonstrate knowledge of how to apply creativity and innovation to their interior lighting solutions.
• The course is aimed at learners who come from an interior design background and who wish to advance and enhance their knowledge, skills and competencies in lighting design, and receive formal certification of these.
• This programme is also suitable for those who want to complete it as part of their lifelong learning or who wish to progress in the workplace.
• The programme provides a pathway for applicants that do not have formal qualifications or training in art and design, and may be considering a career or academic study in this field.

Delivered by the Design Faculty, GCD,  this exciting course have been created for who come from an interior design background and who wish to advance and enhance their knowledge, skills and competencies in lighting design by exploring lighting solutions and applying creativity and innovation to their interior lighting design.
