This 2-day Introduction course helps you learn about the tools and features available in Adobe After Effects CC. We will help you understand how this industry-leading program takes visual effects and motion graphics to a new level. You will use the program’s powerful tools to add a slick, professional look to all your movie projects. Our tips are sure to enhance the quality and creativity of your visual output.

 Course Overall Aim or Objective

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:

Course Prerequisites

You will need basic PC or Mac skills, including a solid understanding of a computer’s operating system (Windows or Mac OS). You will also need to know how to launch a program, create and save files, and copy files from CDs and other media.

This course is intended for anyone new to the field of video and motion graphics who wants to learn about applying special effects.

Each learner needs to have the following:

 -Adobe After Effects installed on their machine

-Access to Zoom (which is what Nexus use for this course, not MS Teams)

-Nexus send pre course files to download and use on the sessions itself. This is usually sent using dropbox, They can however use WeTransfer. If you cannot use either of these then Nexus will need to be given a way to send it directly to you (this is usually portal of some kind)

 Nexus also suggest the following:

-Separate screen or device for the shared video display (Please note this is the preferred and recommended setup but not essential, you can still join with one screen)

-Sound output via computer or headset

-Ideally a camera and microphone on the computer for remote contact
