With the end of the year approaching it is time to look ahead to what is coming in 2018 for print and packaging professionals.
One of the big dates for 2018 has to be FESPA in Berlin, Germany. The Federation of European Screen Printing Associations will host over 700 vendors next year for four days from May 15 – 18. The trade show is one of the biggest in the industry, with upwards of 23,000 attendees expected at the event. The event covers screen and digital wide format, textile printing and signage.
The organisation has been running trade shows since the 1960’s with the aim of spreading knowledge and training in printing techniques throughout their member associations. This core mission has remained consistent through the federation’s history and explains the growth of the group and their events.
This year featured a particular focus on how print is having a major impact on interior design for commercial spaces. While walking the streets of our cities it’s hard not to notice how digital print has allowed even small businesses to communicate their brands with floor to ceiling decals and custom printed displays. More on this later this week.
The exhibit website is now up and running with details on attending for vendors and visitors alike.
