Strategic Management course outline
This certified program is designed to help owners and managers apply supervisory management concepts, principles, creative thinking and specialist skills to a range of contexts and situations. This programme facilitates the focus on, and definition of, what participants want to personally achieve through their business.
It provides participants with a thorough assessment of their current business, a statement of what it is that they want to achieve and a process will help develop the necessary Business Plan. It aims to encourage managers to exercise and assume personal responsibility for prioritising, managing and organising their own work and that of their team in order to achieve required organisational and personal objectives whilst increasing self-esteem and self-confidence.
This course specifically designed to suit the needs of owner managers and senior supervisors, whose remit includes managing people, teams, budgets and KPI’s.
The programme covers all of the key aspects of operating and managing a business. The programme is a combination of Workshops, online learning, Webinars and dedicated meetings with the individual participants.
At the end of this course participants will be able to:

- Understand the impact of marketing, sales, finance departments in your business
- Develop a strategy that will work in your organisation to achieve your key goals
- Understand your customer and how to meet their needs
- Examine the impact that culture, attitudes and values have on work practices
- Use networks and agencies to achieve tasks and solve problems
- Develop a partnership approach to engagement with stakeholders
- Appraise the impact of different styles of leadership and motivational theory
- Use a range of communication styles to provide feedback and promote engagement
- Lead through effective delegation
