The Irish Packaging Society is a constituent part of The Packaging Society – formerly the Institute of Packaging, the oldest and most distinguished institute for the packaging profession, which merged in 2005 with the Institute of Materials Minerals and Mining (IOM3). The merger has combined the experience and expertise of the IoP, with the strength and breadth of the IOM3, to form a powerful force in the ever-changing world of packaging.
Membership of The Packaging Society and through it IOM3 – one of the pre-eminent Chartered Institutes – brings you professional status. This is recognised throughout the packaging industry internationally.
The Institute not only offers recognised professional qualifications, it opens doors throughout the packaging supply chain, from material producers and converters, through product designers and manufacturers, to packer/fillers, brand owners and retailers.
